From now on, every week, My Sherpa chooses a word to put forward, because it's "in fashion", because it must be explained, and, above all, because it is echoed in our values and principles .
Today, focus on « Community ».
What is a working community ?
In the world of work, a community is a group of people who interact together through different channels always in the common interest. A community cannot exist without common interest, but it can exist if the members have different and complementary skills. A working community means giving employees a sense of belonging to the company through strong values. According to François Perroux, a French economist, a working community is when the "we" gives a place and a meaning to the "I" within the organization. It is when this "we" is organized according to these "I" that make up the company and that the two coexist in harmony.
A community is people who come together and share things because they want to, because they have the same values and the same vision.
